Lindsey Lorenz took classes
with Clement Breaux in her home town in Louisiana before moving to
Los Angeles in 2001. She then joined the Performing Arts Center
Apprentice Program under the direction of Joseph Malone for three
years. During that time she had the opportunity to work with and
take class from Michael Rooney, Doug Caldwell, Sallie Whalen,
Jackie Sleight, Michael Owens, Bubba Carr, Terrance Yates, Ann
Anderson, Michelle Elkin, Deborah Shulman, as well as many others.
Since her apprenticeship, she has assisted Michelle Elkin on
“Birthday”, Bryan Anthony with the Oregon Trailblazers Dance Team
and was assistant director to Paul Krepple on “Dino Wars”. Lindsey
also assisted Jerry Evans on Disney’s “Block Party”and the
Hollywood Bowl’s “Roaring 20’s”. She has Performed pieces at the
American Choreography Awards by Sallie Whalen and Ramon Del
Barrio. Lindsey has also performed in several Mandalone Shows, SGI
events, and Choreographer’s Carnivals. She is currently a member
and dance captain for the Mark Goodman Tap Company, which has
performed shows such as “Seal with a Kiss”, “Red” and performed at
“A Night at the Orpheum”. |
